Data Deletion Instructions

Your Data, Your Control. This page explains how to request deletion of your personal data from Creedn, including data collected through third-party integrations like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

1. What Data Gets Deleted

When you request data deletion or delete your account, the following information will be permanently removed from our systems:

Account Information

  • Your name, email address, and profile information
  • Profile picture and biography
  • Account credentials and authentication tokens
  • User preferences and settings

Creator Data

  • Social media connections and analytics data
  • Content plans and calendars
  • Brand deal information and contracts
  • Revenue tracking and budgeting data
  • AI chat history and interactions

Third-Party Integration Data

  • Facebook/Instagram: Profile data, follower counts, engagement metrics, and analytics
  • TikTok: Profile information, video performance data, and follower statistics
  • YouTube: Channel statistics and video performance data
  • Wishlink: Affiliate link performance and revenue data

Note: Deleting your Creedn account only removes data stored in our systems. To delete data from the original platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), you must revoke access permissions through those platforms directly.

Usage Data

  • Activity logs and usage history
  • Feature usage patterns
  • Device and browser information

2. Data That May Be Retained

For legal, security, and compliance reasons, certain data may be retained even after account deletion:

Legal Retention Requirements

  • Financial Records: 7 years (tax and accounting compliance)
  • Transaction History: Payment records required by law
  • Legal Disputes: Data related to ongoing legal matters
  • Fraud Prevention: Information necessary to prevent abuse

Anonymized Data

We may retain anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you personally for analytics, research, and service improvement purposes. This data is completely de-identified and cannot be linked back to you.

Backup Systems

Data in backup systems will be deleted according to our backup retention schedule (typically within 90 days of deletion request).

3. How to Delete Your Data

Option 1: Delete Your Account (Recommended)

The fastest way to delete all your data is to delete your account directly from the app:

  1. Log in to your Creedn account at creedn.com
  2. Navigate to Settings → Account
  3. Scroll to the bottom and click "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm your decision and enter your password
  5. Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days

Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will have a 30-day grace period to recover your account before permanent deletion.

Option 2: Request Data Deletion via Email

If you cannot access your account or prefer to request deletion via email:

Send an email to:

privacy@creedn.com

Subject Line:

"Data Deletion Request"

Include in your email:

  • Your full name
  • Email address associated with your account
  • Reason for deletion (optional)
  • Confirmation that you understand deletion is permanent

Option 3: Delete Facebook/Instagram Data

If you connected your account through Facebook or Instagram and want to delete data collected through that integration:

  1. Go to your Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
  2. Find "Creedn" in the list of connected apps
  3. Click "Remove" or "View and Edit"
  4. Select "Remove App" and check "Delete your posts and activity"

This will revoke Creedn's access to your Facebook/Instagram data and request deletion of data stored by Facebook. You should also delete your Creedn account separately to remove data from our systems.

4. Deletion Timeline

Here's what happens after you request data deletion:

Immediate (0-24 hours)

Your account is deactivated and you can no longer log in. Your data is marked for deletion and removed from active systems.

Grace Period (30 days)

You have 30 days to change your mind and recover your account. During this time, your data is not accessible but not yet permanently deleted. Contact support@creedn.com to recover.

Permanent Deletion (After 30 days)

All your personal data is permanently deleted from our production databases. This action cannot be reversed.

Backup Cleanup (30-90 days)

Data in backup systems is purged according to our backup retention schedule. After this, no recoverable copies of your data exist.

5. Deletion Confirmation

We will send you email confirmations at each stage of the deletion process:

Deletion request received and acknowledged

Account deactivated (within 24 hours)

Final confirmation of permanent deletion (after 30 days)

Response Time

We acknowledge all deletion requests within 3 business days and complete the process within 30 days as required by GDPR and CCPA regulations.
